Should we ban plastic?

I think we should not ban plastic because it gives you a hand carrying food or other supplies around. Also plastic is easy to clean. Plastic is really useful like for chairs, lunch boxes, tables and other things.

On the other hand plastic can cause a lot of pollution. Where ever you go it's polluted. It's bad for the enviroment plus you can get really sick. You could be sick forever!

However plastic can be useful like when you travel around the world on the boat you can store food and keep it forever plus plastic is very strong.

Nevertheless plastic can cause problems like it can easily get trapped in a storm water drain and straight out into the ocean where Marine life are and can kill them by looking like food.

But plastic can last forever so you will never run out of plastic bags and useful water bottles that would be awesome for saving money for other important things.

But it takes two thousand, four hundred years for it to degrade so your rubbish you chucked at the park is still there.

In conclusion there are good and bad things about plastic but seriously we shouldn't ever ban plastic because it's mostly everything we need to survive.


This is my writing about if we should ban plastic or don't ban it. We had to make it a balanced argument so there would be some good and bad things about plastic. For every piece we had it start with a phrase. It had to have three good reasons and 3 bad reasons. As you can see i WOULDN'T ban plastic. I found this like a challenge because i had to make sure it made sense and it followed what was expected. I think i explained it quite well and i am happy of what i did:).

This is my name art. In our class we have some days that our teacher reads a chapter of a book to us and she gives us time to get into our comfortable places before she starts. We always fight over the cushions so one day Mrs.G decided that we should make cushions of our own and put our names on it to make it look cool. As you can see there a four squares with my name in it they are flipped over to make it look like it's reflection. This just shows how it's going to look like soon we are going to get straight into knitting but we need to find the stuff to do it before we start. I really like this kinda art because it's something i am new too and it's fun!!!

 Imagine growing up in a plain world if one community, one country and one culture with everyone knowing what food their country has or knowing what country everyone lives in wouldn’t that be amazing.........not. Kia ora,talofa lava,bonjo,malo lelei,kia orana to you all for those who don’t know me my name is Asenla i am going to tell you 3 main points about what i think of culture. First point is about why i think culture is important. Culture in my point of view is important for all of us why?because i reckon that culture is the most strong part in people’s lives it influences their humor their values, their views, their hopes,their loyalties also their fears so when you are building relationships with others it helps to have understanding in their culture. When the word "culture" is mentioned, we can think of many things as "cultural", such as language, clothings, food, houses, shops....etc because we classify cultures of different places. However culture is so valuable it’s been kept around for thousands of years. What is culture? Culture is the way we learn to look at the world and how we function in it. Our culture is taught by our families, friends and communities. From the help of our families we learnt what food to eat, how to communicate and how to behave it’s also a social group. We define culture in many ways like by region, nationality and religion. Your culture comes from wherever you were born from. Culture keeps on going from generation to another and keeps on going. every single culture is different which makes it so unique and makes us special and who we are today and the future. why be proud of your culture Everyone should be proud of their own culture because without the culture they are now they wouldn’t be as perfect as they are now. I think every culture makes everybody special. Some people might not know that their own culture might be one of the biggest cultures or one of the special culture in the world. Nobody should fake their culture because like i said before every single culture makes EVERYBODY special. Conclusion I am sad to say it comes to the end of my speech i hope that you have found my speech inspiring and interesting thank you for listening and i hope that you learnt something from it remember that every single culture is important, that you know what culture you are and always be proud of your own culture.
